Kellan Lutz to Play Tarzan in New 3D Film

Kellan Lutz is going from blood-sucking to tree-swinging.

The Twilight Saga star has been cast as the title role in Tarzan, a modernized adaptation of the classic story.

The movie, which will be shot in motion-capture 3D, also stars actress Spencer Locke as Jane.

Reinhard Klooss and Holger Tappe are directing, according to THR.

He’s got the physique to play Tarzan…he pulled off Poseidon pretty well. Who knows…he may do really well with this.

Nooooooo! They are remaking Tarzan AGAIN!!!! AND IN 3D???? I like Kellan but no just no. I will not be watching this one.

why not? every generation has had it’s own Tarzan, why not again.. this is just entertainment and i am sure Kellan will be very good at it. way to go:)

Why does it have to be in 3D? I’m terrified of 3D stuff it makes me feel like my heart will stop. But, Kellan in a loin cloth? I can’t miss that! I might die during the movie, but atleast I’ll die a happy girl!
