Kellan Lutz: Why Attack Gisele Over “Endearing, Very Sweet” Email? (VIDEO)

Kellan Lutz has Gisele Bundchen’s back.

The supermodel’s been taking some heat this week for an email she sent to friends and family asking them to pray for husband Tom Brady as he prepares to lead the New England Patriots in Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Lutz doesn’t understand why people would have anything nasty to say about that.

“I found [Bundchen's email] very endearing, very sweet,” the actor told reporters at an Audi Super Bowl party.

He added, “To have a wife do that for her husband and give that positive energy, I think we all need that in the world.”

Lutz was baffled to hear “newscasters blast that and really just be negative” about it.

    This is the 1st I’ve even heard of it lol I don’t see why it would be a big deal. She could have just assumed they’d all be safe and win the whole thing- would that be better? Kellan always has great things to say about people. I’m not a fan of the Twilight series but I am a fan of this guy because of how he is offscreen in interviews & on twitter.

    I’m rooting for the Giants tomorrow, but what the heck is wrong with a wife praying for her husband’s efforts or asking others to do the same? Aren’t spouses supposed to have each other’s backs? Ridiculous!

    I have more of a problem with the people who are mocking her for the email than her for sending the email. Also who was the dummy that let the press get ahold of the email. Clearly she sent it family and friends. Why would someone leak that to the press knowing how they are?

    If I were god I would ignore those irrelevant, ridiculous & egotistical requests (a game….pleaze)

    on a 2nd thought, I would grant those prayers the opposite of what they ask for.
