Katy Perry and Russell Brand Spend Christmas Apart Amid Rumored Fighting

Katy Perry and Russell Brand spent Christmas apart, fueling rumors that their marriage is in serious trouble.

While Brand was in England for the holiday, Perry was photographed splashing around in the ocean off Kauai, Hawaii.

According to reports in Us Weekly and other outlets, the separate celebrations came after a major fight between the two led Perry to opt out of plans to join Brand in London.

Gossip Cop has reached out to reps for comment.

The couple wed in October 2010, but have been dogged by rumors of an imminent split ever since.

Brand and Perry both laughed off recent reports that they planned to divorce.
