Katy Perry NOT Planning to Have Children Right Now, Despite Reports
Katy Perry is NOT planning to get pregnant soon and start a family with John Mayer, despite a widely spreading rumor. According to reports that cite the tabloid Closer, the pop star and her boyfriend are discussing having children soon.
“Katy brought up the idea of having a baby a few weeks ago,” a so-called “source” tells the magazine. “He was really supportive and said he’d love her to be the mother of his child.” The outlet claims Perry altered her performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards to reduce risks to prepare for a pregnancy.
Closer’s “source” explains, “Their inner circle say it won’t be long until there’s happy news. She’s already been taking precautions. Extra safety measures were taken during her EMA act, where she was suspended in the air. She didn’t want to put her body under any strain.”
“Katy says [Mayer will] make a great dad and believes a baby would only strengthen their bond,” adds the supposed insider. But while the couple may one day have children together, this entire story about them actively planning to have kids in the near future is 100 percent false. It’s “made up,” a Perry pal tells Gossip Cop.
