Katy Perry and John Mayer are the subjects of fresh engagement rumors after she was spotted wearing a ruby ring as the couple enjoyed a romantic dinner on Thursday.

Earlier this week, Gossip Cop debunked speculation that Perry and Mayer were engaged, but the buzz returned in the wake of their Valentine’s Day meal at Vincenti Ristorante in Los Angeles.

So is Perry actually set to wed for a second time?

NO.

A source close to Mayer tells Gossip Cop the couple is still not engaged, calling the new batch of rumors untrue.

Sometimes a romantic dinner is just a romantic dinner.
