Katy Perry and John Mayer Spotted Out Together in Los Angeles (PHOTOS)

Katy Perry and John Mayer appear to be picking up where they left off in 2009.

The pair almost got together a few years back, but a potential relationship was derailed when Perry met Russell Brand at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Now that her divorce from Brand has been finalized, however, the pop singer has apparently reconnected with Mayer.

The pair were photographed driving in L.A. on Wednesday night after hitting up Chateau Marmont.

Perry and Mayer were also reportedly spotted out together in June.

Gossip Cop has reached out to reps for the singers for details on their status.

    This is just a game. She is after Rob and she just have to wait a couple of month to make her move. She is the reason that Kristen felt insecure about her relationship with Rob. Rob obviously was so naive to see that. Rob and Kristen were the cutest couple.

    Well, color me NOT shocked. The big time party and have fun Hollywood girl and the original love ‘em and leave ‘em party guy. Maybe they have both grown up a bit since all of that. Yep, agree that she needs to stay as far from Rob Pattinson as she can get cause he sure doesn’t need that party woman in his life. Hope he lets the friendship go and concentrates on his career and his broken relationship with Kristen be it only friends from now on or more.
