Katy Perry Nails Russell Brand At VMAs

It’s hard to believe it was only one year ago that Katy Perry and Russell Brand began their whirlwind courtship.
The now-engaged couple met at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards, but weren’t quite able to relive that magical moment at last night’s show.
Perry attended solo… but she had Brand’s likeness nailed – literally.
The singer tweeted a picture of her fingernails (right), which sported decals of Brand in different poses.
“To the 1 year anniversary of our love @ the #VMA’S @rustyrockets,” she wrote. “You’re here w/us in spirit :)”
In reply, Brand, who was in New York shooting Arthur, tweeted “@katyperry I’m hosting my own awards (#RBMA’s) you win. See you wednesday (in LA).” Accompanying his tweet was a picture of him holding out a flower and an image of Perry taped to his head.
If that ain’t love, we don’t know what is.
