Katy Perry Blew Up At Drunk Orlando Bloom?
According to the new issue of Star, which came out on Wednesday, Perry and Bloom had their “first fight” on April 13 “after he embarrassed her at the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy Launch” in Los Angeles. A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Orlando was knocking back drink after drink, even Katy lost count. Katy knows how to have a good time, too, but Orlando was hammered. It was unnerving. She’d never seen this side of him before.”
The magazine goes on to claim, “Once they got into the car to leave, Katy unloaded on Orlando.” The supposed source alleges, “They had plans to attend Coachella, but the thought of spending the whole weekend looking after a grown man who can’t hold his liquor? It was the last thing Katy wanted to do, and she told him so.”
“Once Orlando sobered up, he couldn’t apologize enough,” continues the outlet’s tipster, “and it must’ve worked because they made it to the festival after all.” Wow. How convenient of Star to allege Perry and Bloom had a secret fight, but made up before their PDA-filled appearance at Coachella.
It’s a story with a built-in cover, an excuse for why Perry and Orlando were seen looking happy just days later. And it comes exactly a week after fellow gossip rag In Touch claimed the couple actually had a “blowup” at the music and arts event. Interestingly, neither tabloid’s story jives with the other.
And that’s because this new one is just as false as the last. Gossip Cop is told this supposed drunken fight simply “never happened.”
