Katt Williams Ordered To Pay After Alleged Dog Attack

Katt Williams has been ordered to pay a record producer more than half a million dollars after allegedly ordering his dog to attack the other man’s dog.

The comedian was sued by Merion Joseph Powers, who claims Williams refused to settle his $28,000 bill at a studio in Atlanta.

According to Powers, Williams tried to intimidate him by coming to the studio with an attack dog and giving it a “verbal attack signal” to assault Powers’ dog. The victimized pet suffered “substantial and nearly life-threatening injuries.”

At a later date, Powers and Williams met at a hotel to discuss the incident. Powers claims Williams used the dogs and bodyguards to again intimidate him into not pressing charges.

Now a judge has ruled that Williams must pay Powers $577,929.

    He should have faced criminal charges as well! Ordering an attack dog to attack another animal is animal cruelty to both animals. The courts could have ordered that the attack dog be euthanized and the other dog has been traumatized. That’s just wrong. This man should be in jail.
