“Katie Holmes Wasting Away! Divorce Stress Makes Weight Plummet To Estimated ’100 Pounds,’” blares a sensationalized headline from RadarOnline, which claims the actress’ split from Tom Cruise “is clearly taking its toll on her weight.”

The webloid says when Holmes stepped out in New York City on Thursday, “The sharp bones jutting from her vertebra and ribcage as she struggled to carry daughter Suri were a startling sight for everyone around her.”

Everyone… or just the tabloids trying to manufacture a story?

Anyway, the site says it can “exclusively reveal” that Holmes “could be on the brink of a health crisis.”

By “exclusively,” RadarOnline means it spoke to a “nutritional expert” named Majid Ali who has never treated or even met Holmes.

Ali offers, “She is very thin,” noting, “Stress so easily dampens the appetite and the hormones caused by it intentionally block hunger signals.”

The nutritionist goes on to estimate that the 5′ 9″ Holmes weighs only “around 100 pounds.”

Really?

Nope.

This story is just the webloid’s attempt to milk the drama in Holmes’ personal life for its own benefit.

A source close to Holmes tells Gossip Cop, “She’s the same weight she’s always been.”

As usual, RadarOnline is thin on the facts.

    Um…..in all fairness, you’re pretty thin on “facts” yourself. You have an anonymous source that claims to know that Holmes is the same weight as usual. How is that a fact?? Give us a real source, with an actual name of someone who provably knows Katie Holmes, otherwise you’re the kettle calling the pot black. You’re making it up as you go along just as the magazine you attack is.

    PS. Holmes does look pretty boney, and who could blame the poor girl. She’s smack in the middle of an acrimonious divorce.

    Not sure how much the divorce itself is taking it’s toll as she only filed a week ago. I mean how much weight can you really lose in one week, especially since we just saw pictures of her out eating ice cream.

    Separation and Divorce can affect people in different ways some people put weight on and others end up losing weight. These days society has become so politically incorrect that nothing is tolerated and everything must be sensationalised. Over in England UK the Law Society said they do not want to rent out their hall to a Christian pro-monogamy hetersexual / marriage group.

    Katie Holmes has been looking like a homeless person, uncombed hair, pasty face and like someone who hasnt had a hot shower for three months. You cant blame that on Tom Cruise. She’s been working hard on the poor katie bit.
