Katie Holmes Tells Friends: Tom Cruise “Ruined Me Emotionally!” Claims Tab

“Katie Holmes Therapy Bombshell,” blares a headline from the National Enquirer, which claims the actress is currently in counseling “to deal with the emotional aftermath of her marriage to Tom Cruise.”

The supermarket tabloid, which this week published a ridiculous “kidnap shocker” story about the pair’s daughter, Suri Cruise, reports that Holmes recently confessed to a so-called “friend,” “Tom ruined me emotionally!”

According to the purported pal, “Katie went into the marriage as a very healthy and normal person, but I think the years with Tom traumatized her.”

“In my opinion, he basically stunted Katie’s growth as an individual,” offers the mag’s unknown source, who adds, “She’s had great difficulty opening herself up to love and romance again.”

Why on earth should we listen to the opinions of an unnamed individual who speaks to the Enquirer?

Anyway, the tabloid goes on to wonder why Holmes isn’t dating again, quoting a psychologist — who has never met the actress — as saying, “Emotionally, she’s still very vulnerable.”

Again, why should the thoughts of a doctor who has never treated Holmes carry any weight?

The Enquirer is just grasping for straws to create drama in Holmes’ life where there is none.

In reality, the star is coping just fine in her new life with Suri, a source close to Holmes tells Gossip Cop, calling the tab’s therapy tale “ridiculous and untrue.”

    I see,,,so we’re supposed to believe the “unnamed individual” this gossip rag supposedly has versus the unnamed source The Enquirer has? Talk about hypocricy. According to this site, anything and everything that might paint Tom Cruise or his marriages & parenting skills, is false and only this site has the truth. In short, you’re just as full of crap as the National Enquirer. Neither of you have a clue.

    why not the title of this article katie deny the claims of national enquirer as ridiculuos and untrue instead of defame tom from the title and at the end saying that they deny it.such media reports and title are aimed to destroy the reputation of legend star because he is scientologist.every time his movie is abt to be released. i see web flooded with these types of articles. in order to create hatred against star. learn frm UK how we marketed our skyfall franchise. we all become united.nobody whats daniel craig religion. we just get united and see the outcome. even though daniel craig is far far away from legendary tom cruise stardom. but what u did with jack reacher. i saw intense negaitive publicity aimed to destory the movie business.i saw copy paste comments on all all his jack reacher articles. despite all those desperate negative publicity before jack reacher release the movie almost managed to do business 4 times its budget. only tom cruise can do that

    I don’t care who the source of this news is, but it absolutely true that anyone who has been in Tom Cruise is circle either as his wife, girlfriends, staff or even close family members, they are all traumatized and emotionally abused by Tom Cruise and his buddy David Miscavige. It definitely takes time to heal from all the emotional abuses and brainwashing. I am sure Katie needs her recovery time and will do well.
    I worked next to Tom and David Miscavige for year, now out of the cult. It definitely emotionally damaged me and took me time to heal and decompress from the cult, I am still going through it.
    But Tom Cruise and his cult leader should be brought to justice and put behind bars.
