Katie Holmes “Overwhelmed” With Life As “Single Mom”?

Katie Holmes’ new life as a “single mom” to Suri is “taking a toll” on the actress, according to Life & Style.

A purported “insider” for the tabloid claims, “Katie has made a huge shift in her life,” explaining, “She doesn’t have all the help she used to have when she was with Tom, and it’s a lot to handle.”

Another alleged “friend” says, “Katie’s being pushed and pulled in so many different directions that she’s overwhelmed.”

Adds the so-called “pal,” “She’s trying to balance work, motherhood and keeping Suri grounded and enrolling her in a new school.”

Um… OK, so aside from Suri’s new school, what about this is different from Holmes’ life before she split from Cruise?

Nothing.

Anyhow, the mag goes on to say that because of Holmes’ “stress” raising Suri alone, the actress “barely has time to blow-dry her hair or apply makeup before she walks out the door.”

Again, Holmes tended to sport a natural daytime look before she left Cruise as well.

Still, the “insider” goes on to allege, “She never really dresses up anymore when she goes out.”

Actually, Holmes has been recently spotted in chic dinner attire on two different occasions in New York.

Basically, every single claim about Holmes in this story is 100% UNTRUE.

The “Dawson’s Creek” alum could very well afford to hire nannies for Suri if she wanted to, but she prefers to care for her daughter without outside help.

In any case, a source close to Holmes tells Gossip Cop it’s “totally false” that she’s having a hard time caring for Suri alone.
