Katie Holmes Set to Star in Molly, Movie She Wrote About a Single Mom?

Katie Holmes is reportedly set to next star in a film titled Molly that she co-wrote and will co-produce about — get this — “the life of a single mother and her daughter,” says People.
As previously reported, Holmes recently filed for divorce from Tom Cruise, and is seeking sole custody of their daughter Suri.
Production on the film is slated to run until August in New York, where Holmes recently moved with Suri into a new apartment.
Gossip Cop has reached out to Holmes’ rep to verify the accuracy of the People report.

Holmes and Cruise are quietly trying to work out a settlement to avoid a court battle.
