Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson Dating Again Report NOT True
“Katie & Josh: Back Together?” asks one of the cover teases on Wednesday’s new issue of Life & Style. A headline inside the magazine similarly wonders, “Are Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson reconnecting 18 years after their ‘Dawson’s Creek’ romance?” The accompanying story says they’re “suddenly both single,” and leaning on each other as they enter a new phase of their lives.
A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Everyone’s hoping they rekindle their romance. All her friends have been nudging Katie to consider giving their relationship another chance. They all love him, and Katie and Josh realize what they had is rare and very special.”
In fact, Life & Style claims “friends are convinced they’re more than just old buddies.” The supposed source also notes that while they “were so young when they fell in love on ‘Dawson’s Creek,'” they’re “adults now and the love is still there.” And getting back together, insists the alleged tipster, would be “the perfect love story.”
But it’s not a true one. Although Holmes and Jackson certainly have no ill-will between them, it is absolutely incorrect to portray them as exes falling back in love. Holmes’ rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “There’s no truth to it,” and the tabloid was told that, but ran the story anyway “just to stir up a rumor.” The spokesperson further tells us “the two have not spoken” in a very long time.
