Katie Holmes “Ordered” By Doctors to Stop Carrying Suri?

Truth rating: 0

“Doc Tell Katie: Put Suri Down!” screams a headline from Star, which reports that Katie Holmes physicians are imploring her to stop lifting her daughter.

The mag, which recently ran a bogus cover story claiming Holmes was sleeping with Tom Cruise again, now reports, “Doctors have warned Katie that she’ll do real harm to her back if she keeps carrying around her nearly 7-year-old daughter.”

“After wrenching her back last July in a minor car accident, she’s been ordered to avoid heavy lifting, but Mama Katie just can’t say no to her little girl,” writes Star.

The tab then quotes a supposed “source” as saying, “It’s not healthy when parents carry around a second grader.”

It’s also not healthy when magazines repeatedly publish inaccurate stories about a child.

One of the main reasons Holmes still carries Suri is to hide her daughter’s face from bystanders and paparazzi who are constantly snapping photos of her.

Check out the PHOTO (above right), and notice how the woman is pointing her camera at the child.

Anyway, regardless of why Holmes picks up her daughter, this story is still totally false.

The “Dead Accounts” actress wasn’t even injured when her car was sideswiped last summer, and a source close to Holmes tells Gossip Cop it’s “not true” that doctors have ordered her to stop lifting Suri.

Suri is old enough to walk.. come on

Its lame to criticize a parent, in a moment in time, who’s picking up or carrying their child. She may be scared, crying, tired, who knows. If I could, I’d still pick up my 10 year old, if he’d let me. But we’re also not walking in NYC with a bunch of strangers yelling, pointing, crowding, and snapping pictures. Lay off.

Are you for real? When you were 7 years old did your Mom carry you around on her hip? The fact is Suri needs to get use to paparazzi, sadly it is part of her life, even though she didn’t choose it for herself. She is old enough to walk, you can only baby a child so much, there comes a time when you have to wake up and realize that your little baby turned into a child. Even though I am sure this story is bull, It is more then likely speaking the truth. Katie very well could hurt her back, carrying around a 7 year old all the time

It looks to me like she is trying to protect her child. Why criticize a mother for that?? Look at all the neglectful and abusive parents in the world and this is criticized? Shame.

She’s usually not carried. Almost every picture coming out now shows her walking. Just every so often when photographers get too close do we still see her getting carried. Plus Suri is very thin and I’m sure she’s not heavy to pick up. Unless we’ve walked in someone else’s shoes, I just don’t see how we have the right to judge.

Well, the woman is BEHIND her, and now Suri is FACNIG her. I do think part of it is that Katie feels safer holding her, so that no one can grab her and run. i’m sure she has body guards everywhere she goes though. She can hold her hand and get one of those bracelet things that you can attach them to your wrist. Suri is going to have a complex if mom is still lugging her around at 15 years old lmao.

If they don’t want Suri to get her picture taken then they should just put a mask on her or a veil like Michael Jackson did with his kids. Seems like they turned out O.K. Just kidding, but really she does carry the girl around a lot more than I have ever seen anyone carry around a 7 year old. Maybe Suri shouldn’t wear high-heel shoes, kids should be at least 10 before they put on heels! lmao
