Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise Take Suri to See “The Nutcracker”

Katie Holmes started her birthday weekend with a Christmas favorite.

Last night, the actress and her hubby Tom Cruise took daughter Suri to see New York City Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. The family flew into the Big Apple from Vancouver, where Cruise is working on Mission: Impossible 4.

After the show, Suri got to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy backstage.

Holmes, who founded the dance-oriented charitable Dizzy Feet Foundation, turns 32 today.

    It must be nice to have money to just fly to nyc to see the nutcracker. I mean, every city, every large town has a version going of it. I can’t believe that Vancouver, which is a large city, does not have a ballet version, and a good one of the nutcracker. It’s not like Suri is going to remember the difference, since she is hit with so many different things.

    There needed to be a photo op to show that they were not seperating. No one knew/cared that Tom was in Vancover. So they had to go to the paparazzi.

    How come there ae never pictures taken of Tom and Katie with Tom’s other 2 kids from Nicole? From what I read Tom has custedy of them most since Nicole spends so much time in Australia.
