Kathy Griffin: I Will Not Apologize For “Trying To Go Down On Anderson Cooper”

Kathy Griffin had an interesting New Year’s Eve telecast alongside Anderson Cooper, and on Wednesday’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” the comedienne made no apologies for getting up close and personal with Cooper’s crotch on national television.

“If you think this is the part where I’m going to apologize for trying to go down on Anderson Cooper, you are sorely mistaken,” Griffin told the late-night host.

She added, “I tried, ladies and gays, I tried for you.”

Asked whether she’d be OK with a man reciprocating the gesture, Griffin replied, “If it was Anderson Cooper… I’d unzip so fast.”

    Real funny … this is so sad because I’ve actually seen her where I think she’s hilarious and it doesn’t involve this type of grotesque grandstanding. And Letterman isn’t going to do or say anything because it’s boosting his ratings having her on talking about going down on Anderson Cooper. Of course she’s not going to apologize … she’s getting a boatload of publicity because of it.

    There was a time, YEARS ago, when Griffin was a respected comedic talent. Now she is a “has been” who must resort to vulgar language and disgusting behavior for attention. Hope to never see her again on ANY broadcast or magazine. Would call her a pig but that would be insulting to four legged sty occupants.
