Schwarzenegger Daughter Not Ready to “Forgive” Father?

This past weekend, Katherine Schwarzenegger, the eldest child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, re-tweeted the phrase, “Sometimes we forgive people cause we want them back in our lives.”

But maybe the former governor’s daughter is not quite ready to forgive her dad for fathering a child with the family’s longtime household staffer Mildred Baena.

Schwarzenegger has since deleted her tweet, and replaced it with, “As my healing begins after this crazy week I ask for privacy! This is only the business of my family and please respect that!”

Over the weekend, Schwarzenegger was spotted walking with her mom on a beach in Malibu.

    Maria knew all about Arnold’s womanizing BEFORE they got married and since she is from a family of men who CHEAT ON THEIR WIVES, I and I am sure many others are surprised she did not keep him on a SHORT LEASE. Or, maybe, she was brought up with the philosophy that men cheat, or at least, men of power cheat. In the end, Arnold did not hurt me… I never liked his movies to begin with. I do not like most of the Kennedys, used to when I was younger, read alot of books on them, lost my ‘crush’ on the family as their dirty linen came out. Anyhoo….. dispite my feelings, or lack of them, it is NOT MY BUSINESS, nor do I know enough about this affair and Arnold’s relationships with HIS CHILDREN. This is his daughter, she is hurt, and it is up to her to decide whether to forgive her father for the hurt he has brought to the family. I do hope she does go after counselling if this whole thing affects her too much in a negative way. Arnold and this Patty woman did not seem to think much about ANYONE ELSE, especially about their children.

    I would also think she would need this to be OFF THE FRONT PAGE OF EVERY PAPER, BLOG, RAG, and OFF THE 5 o’clock NEWS, before she can even start to heal. You, Gossip Cop are reporting that she was walking on the Beach with her mother Maria. No doubt, some reporter, or reporters were shoving Mics into their faces asking questions….. Anger level still has to be rather high, esp. when her mom is no doubt either-steaming or crying. Give the daughter at the very least a few months

    Yes, there should be forgiveness down the road. I am not saying what he did was right. He is her father and nothing can change that. She needs to heal first then then search for forgiveness.

    Yes she needs to forgive. It won’t happen over night and it’s hardest on older children. They understand way better. This is not fair to either his kids or the child he made in the affair. I understand that Maria may have known he was a cheater and really she has to make her choices as well. But she needs to help her children forgive there father in time. He made a horrible mistake and by what I hear it’s not the first affair he had. I hope that Arnold works to get there forgiveness and does what is right for all the children he has made. It’s sad that his family is such a public family and it is all over the media with this. It does not help matters at all. Hopefully with time his children will forgive him and his child from the affair will forgive him as well. He put his family is a horrible way.

    arnold and maria’s marriage fell apart a long time ago. eventually he and maria may be cordial to each other, and move on.. the children are another matter. he wants to be in their lives, and he will be, when they can forgive him for his betrayal.
