La Toya Jackson Says ‘Justice Was Served’; Katherine Adds, ‘I Feel Better Now’

It was the day Michael Jackson‘s family had been waiting for – Dr. Conrad Murray being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter of the King of Pop.

Shortly after the verdict was announced, La Toya Jackson tweeted, “VICTORY!!!!!!” She added, “Michael I love you and I will continue to fight until ALL are brought to justice!”

The singer’s sister further told the Associated Press, “Michael was looking over us… Absolutely justice was served.”

La Toya was far from the only relative pleased with the verdict.

A relieved Katherine Jackson admitted to the Associated Press, “I feel better now.”

    i don’t understand how he’s going to jail when it’s basically a malpractice case, isn’t it?

    They are pretty much calling it involuntary manslaughter, meaning he didn’t mean to kill him, but it happened anyway. Really anyone who accidentally kills someone by their own actions, say like speeding in a car, can be charged with involuntary manslaughter and sent to jail. But personally I’m not so sure that if this wasn’t Michael Jackson that he would be going to prison. Its kind of hard to get a fair trial when the victim is the most famous and loved star that Michael Jackson was. I’m not say that I think the verdict was wrong just that I can see how the jurors could find it hard not to convict
