Katherine Heigl supposedly flipped out on her “State of Affairs” TV show set when the star discovered a misspelling of her name on a dressing room door, claims the National Enquirer. The tabloid says the actress found “Catherine Heigle” written on the door — and allegedly went ballistic.

“In a rage, Katherine phoned momager Nancy and demanded she find out who the culprit was and get her name corrected immediately,” a so-called “source” tells the Enquirer. “It turned out the mistake was made by a new assistant director — who’s now looking for a new job.” Boy, that sounds dramatic. Except it never happened.

The Enquirer, which has been spreading false stories and inaccurate rumors about Heigl for years, just did it again. There was no dressing room name meltdown, period. “Never happened,” a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop.
