Katherine Heigl, Josh Kelley Marriage Trouble Claim NOT True
Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley are not having marriage trouble, despite a report. Gossip Cop can correct the erroneous story.
RadarOnline announces in a mean-spirited headline on Monday, “She-Devil Heigl’s Marriage Rocked By Latest TV Flop!” The cruel article similarly begins, “Career-cursed Katherine Heigl’s new TV series, Doubt, was canceled after only two episodes, and friends worry recent work woes could put her marriage on the chopping block!” It’s alleged that not only Heigl was hoping for a television comeback, but “so was her hubby!”
“Josh was thrilled to play house husband and have Katherine working long hours again. Their marriage has always thrived when Katherine is busy and Josh is holding down the fort,” a so-called “source” claims to the outlet. “Katherine has been in an especially foul mood since Doubt’s cancellation. She has a wicked temper and takes it out on Josh.”
The site’s alleged tipster further asserts, “They’ve been bickering nonstop lately and friends are wondering if Katherine’s latest career setback could wreck their marriage once and for all… Josh was breathing a sigh of relief, believing Doubt and their [new] son were marriage-savers. But the honeymoon is definitely over now.” In fact, the webloid predicts, “Her divorce may come to an end as fast as her TV Show.”
But there’s no divorce to end because no divorce has started. And one’s not going to start, either. While Heigl of course wanted her TV show to succeed, she is also fiercely devoted to her family life in Utah. She and Kelley both consider her presence a blessing, not a curse.
That’s why Heigl spent years at home with her family instead of focusing on her career. Her marriage thrived during that time, contrary to this story’s implications, and it’s still thriving now. A rep for the actress denies there’s any merit to RadarOnline’s marriage trouble report.
