Katherine Heigl Adopting Another Baby to ‘Save Her Marriage’?

“In a desperate bid to save their marriage, ‘Knocked Up’ star Katherine Heigl and her musician husband Josh Kelley plan to adopt another baby,” begins a piece in the National Enquirer.

According to so-called “pals” of the couple, Heigl and Kelley’s marriage is being “ripped apart by career pressures and meddling relatives,” but they think “another child can fix all that.”

“Josh has talked Katherine into adopting another child,” says a supposed source for the mag, adding, “He believes this could be the answer to their problems.”

What problems?

The mag claims Heigl and Kelley’s marriage has been “battered by articles” about her “faltering career and interference from their families.”

Aren’t those “articles” the very same stories cooked up by the Enquirer itself?

While a rep for Heigl would not conjecture at all about future adoption plans, a Gossip Cop source tells us the Enquirer piece is not true.
