Kate Upton is the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model for 2012.

Photos of the iconic annual issue are making the online rounds on Monday after some early deliveries of the print editions.

Upton’s announcement as the 2012 cover model will officially be made on “Late Show with David Letterman” later on Monday when a large billboard of the magazine is unveiled in Times Square.

    HORRIBLE PICTURE, SICK. First off, I think sports illustrated has crossed a line with this cover, and usually I’m no prude and am bothered by next to nothing, but that swimsuit is RIDICULOUS, OBSCENE and most of all UNATTRACTIVE. It almost looks photoshopped down to the vulva.. It’s one thing to be sexy and display your assets, but since when are the lips of the vaj part of the silhouette women want to display at the beach?!! That’s pretty damn disgusting.

    I agree AND it’s not about me being uncomfortable with any of what is being shown or ‘jealous’ as some might now accuse me of for saying it, BUT this is just a ridiculous and obvious attempt to get people to buy their magazine. They have pushed the limit this time with this one. It’s not even a bathing suit! Come on.
