Busting bad dish!

Kate Middleton “Pregnancy” Exclusive is Royally Wrong

Truth rating: 0

(Star magazine)

Like World Cup footballers, Star magazine prepared for months, got into shape, and is now ready for the grand stage of its sport: dreadful and 100% false reporting.

After claiming Britney Spears was pregnant (she was not) and that Renee Zellweger had gone so far as to install a nursery (she had not), the tab today delivered a so-called “shocking world exclusive.”

Star reports that Kate Middleton, Prince William‘s bride-to-be, is pregnant, threatening their nuptials.

Middleton “is going to have a baby,” alleges Star in an article that’s ten times the fairy tale the royal wedding could ever be.

She supposedly called William at his North Wales military base, “sobbing so hard, she could hardly get the words out,” but managing to reveal that “despite their precautions, she is pregnant.”

What followed, according to the imaginative minds at Star, was an “anguished two-hour conversation behind closed doors” and Prince Charles convening an “emergency meeting of his senior advisors.”

None of this is true.

Middleton is not pregnant, and nothing has changed.

Gossip Cop contacted Buckingham Palace and was issued a simple statement regarding Star‘s ridiculous report: “Not true.”

Someday Star may report a pregnancy correctly… but this time it was royally wrong.
