Kate Middleton NOT “Barred” From BAFTAs, Despite Report
Kate Middleton is NOT “barred” from attending the 2017 BAFTAs, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can bust this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to the repeatedly discredited Celeb Dirty Laundry, the Duchess of Cambridge is not invited to this year’s BAFTA awards in London following concerns she may “steal the spotlight” during the ceremony. Without any sources or legitimate evidence, the often disproven site contends, “Many celebrities are worried that Kate might outshine them on the red carpet.” “With Kate there, many Hollywood A-stars would be left in the shadow, and that’s something they don’t want to happen,” further purports the bad blog.
Despite the ridiculousness of CDL’s bogus report, we checked in with a royal insider who assures us the story is “not true.” Middleton is attending this year’s BAFTAs, and any reports claiming otherwise are simply inaccurate. It’s just yet another piece of fake news.
Of course, the notoriously unreliable outlet has a long history of fabricating absurd articles about the royals. Only days ago, Gossip Cop busted the webloid for falsely alleging Prince William hates celebrating Middleton’s birthday. And shortly before that ridiculous report, we called out the site for wrongly claiming Middleton and Prince William were worried about the portrayal of their marriage in Netflix’s series, “The Crown.” Neither of those stories were true, and the same goes for this latest one.
