Kate Middleton Did NOT Announce Third Pregnancy On Christmas, Despite Report
Kate Middleton did NOT announce her third pregnancy on Christmas, despite a new tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can debunk the report, which comes from the same outlet that falsely claimed she was expecting last October.
The new issue of Life & Style hit newsstands on Wednesday with the claim Middleton made a “Christmas announcement.” The cover quotes the Duchess of Cambridge as saying, “I’m pregnant again.” The accompanying story has a headline making the same allegations, further alleging Middleton and Prince William chose to “surprise their families with the happy news” following a “day of celebration.”
A so-called “royal insider” claims it all went down during the evening on Christmas Day, after the couple had a “casual dinner” with Prince Harry and Middleton’s family. “They were just relaxing in front of the TV after dinner when Kate and William announced: Kate’s pregnant again,” alleges the source. “Everyone was so shocked but over the moon for them.”
Life & Style goes on to claim Middleton is “roughly two months along,” and “due in late summer.” Of course, that doesn’t jive with the magazine’s previous pregnancy tale, which said in October that an “official announcement” would be made “any day now,” and quoted a tipster as saying “the baby will arrive around June.”
So, was the tabloid lying then or now? Uh, try BOTH times. A Palace insider tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the pregnancy report is once again “not true.”
