Kate McKinnon used her best poker face and detective skills during a game of “True Confessions” with Jimmy Fallon and John Cena on Friday’s “Tonight Show.” Watch the video below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, “True Confessions” is somewhat similar to Fallon’s “Box Of Lies.” While in that game, the players have to guess whether the person is telling the truth about what’s in their box, this one has the players guessing whether the person is telling the truth about a random personal confession. The game is always played as if the participants are old-school detectives in an interrogation room.

“Kate and I are about to play a game of deception,” a bearded Fallon said with a hint of menace in his voice. The tension was cut when Cena went to take a drink from his doubled-up coffee cup, only for the host to yell, “Don’t drink that! It’s a prop! This is supposed to be like a detectives’ office!” That prompted Cena to spit out the mystery liquid, which he then joked was “urine.”

The wrestler then said the game was “complicated” to him, and he seemed unsure about going first. But he confessed, “I was once hit by a car while riding my bike, and the driver was my girlfriend.” Fallon and McKinnon then had 60 seconds to interrogate Cena in hopes of figuring out whether his confession was true or not.

“If this is a lie, this guy should win an Oscar,” Fallon declared afterward, convinced Cena was telling the truth. Gossip Cop won’t spoil the outcome. When it was the late-night personality’s own turn, Fallon confessed, “I made out with Gwyneth Paltrow during an ‘SNL’ sketch.”

As an “SNL” star herself, McKinnon had a lot of questions. And then it was her turn to confess, “I once snuck into a zoo after hours.” So, who was telling the truth and who was bluffing? Check out the video below!
