Karina Smirnoff may be out of competition for the sparkling mirrored ball, but the “Dancing with the Stars” pro has a new sparkler on her left ring finger – a 4.5 carat Asscher cut diamond engagement ring that she sported last night at Tao Las Vegas’ fifth anniversary party.

Last  month, baseball player Brad Penny very quietly proposed to Smirnoff.

Smirnoff and Penny, who played last season for the St. Louis Cardinals, starting dating in October 2009 – not long after she and fellow dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy called off their engagement.

The couple met through their mutual pal, former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant and UFC fighter Chuck Liddell.
