Kardashians, Jenners Stop Website And App Updates Amid Lamar Odom Crisis
The Kardashians and Jenners announced on Thursday night that they are stopping updates to their websites and apps in light of Lamar Odom’s health crisis.
A statement featured on each sister’s website reads, “As a family, we’ve decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time.” The posting marks the family’s first joint comment since Odom’s hospitalization.
As Gossip Cop has reported, Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Tuesday. Odom remains unresponsive and on life support at a Las Vegas hospital. While all the Kardashian-Jenner women held a vigil at his bedside over the last two days, all but Khloe returned to Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon.
Aside from this family statement, Khloe has not commented publicly on the tragic situation, nor has her sister Kim. Kourtney and Rob Kardashian, as well as Kris, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner have all posted messages on social media. The family’s announcement about putting their websites and apps, which just launched last month, on hold came just before Odom’s children broke their silence and released their own first statement.
The Kardashian-Jenner statement as it appeared on Kim’s website can be seen below. Gossip Cop will continue to have updates.
