Kardashian-Jenner Family In “Serious Financial Crisis”?
The Kardashian-Jenner family is NOT in a “serious financial crisis,” despite a report from disreputable webloid known for spreading misinformation about the clan. Gossip Cop can debunk the story.
According to RadarOnline, “the Kardashians are getting a major financial reality check — and the fallout from their extravagant spending could leave them in the poorhouse!” The site alleges the famous family “has been thrown into a crisis over a series of money mistakes.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “The family needs a miracle to save them from hemorrhaging their dwindling cash.”
The site goes on to write, “Kim Kardashian recently blamed her mom Kris Jenner for mismanaging her money, even though it’s 35-year-old Kim who ‘blows over $300k a month on shopping alone – and that’s just not sustainable.'” Of course, Gossip Cop corrected the mother vs. daughter claim when it was first peddled last month.
Continuing with another faulty premise, RadarOnline says, “Compounding the issue, [Kim’s] husband, Kanye West, 38, admitted last winter to burning through millions and being ‘in debt’ after a failed effort to prove himself as a fashion designer.” Conveniently not mentioned is the clarification that West isn’t and wasn’t actually in “debt,” but merely referring to the amount of millions he’s personally poured into his ventures. It’s not money he owes to anyone else.
So, what else does the webloid have to back up its “financial crisis” allegations? Not much. The outlet points to “flagging ratings” on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and a pending lawsuit Gossip Cop previously detailed. “Kim’s made a few inroads to earning more with her gaming app, Khloe’s show flopping and Kourtney barely earning a dime on her own in years isn’t helping,” the supposed source vaguely claims.
The alleged tipster adds, “Kris is tearing her hair out with worry — there’s way too much going out and not enough coming in. This family is headed for real trouble if they don’t start turning things around fast.” Gossip Cop would argue, however, that it’s RadarOnline that needs to turn things around.
The site has a documented history of fabricating stores about the Kardashian-Jenners, with outright lies and sensationalism. It’s all designed to trick readers, score traffic, and make the family look bad. But all the bad blog has proven is that it doesn’t actually have reliable family sources.
Gossip Cop, however, spoke to one, who called these new allegations of financial trouble “laughable.” It is no exaggeration to say the family is making bank every day, and that’s unlikely to stop anytime soon. Something else that won’t stop: Gossip Cop calling out RadarOnline for its mistakes.
