Kanye West “At War” With Caitlyn Jenner?
According to this week’s In Touch, Jenner is “furious” with West over his alleged remix of Aerosmith’s “Dude (Looks Like A Lady).” Picking up a rumor originally started by the Daily Mail, the magazine claims the rapper recorded the track to “bash his nemesis Wendy Williams.” The problem is that Jenner supposedly found the new lyrics, such as “You may be wearing a dress, but you a man like me,” to be “offensive to transgender people.”
“Caitlyn thinks the song is so insensitive,” a so-called “source” is quoted is saying, adding that “Caitlyn schooled Kanye over Wendy.” But the supposed snitch goes on to allege (in totally unnatural language), “Kanye has refused to apologize to the talk show host, who has slammed his marriage to Kim Kardashian and insinuated he’s secretly gay. Kanye said he was sorry to Caitlyn — but he’ll never say it to Wendy.”
Here’s what’s really going on: In Touch decided to embellish an unsubstantiated report from a British tabloid. As if running the unfounded song allegation wasn’t enough, the magazine then used it to create a feud between Jenner and West. A rep for the rapper exclusively confirms to Gossip Cop that he is NOT doing a “Dude (Looks Like A Lady)” remix.
Furthermore, Jenner happily attended West’s “Yeezy Season 3” event on Thursday, and even shared a picture they took backstage (see above). That’s not two people “at war.” That’s family members supporting each other as they always have.
