Kanye West Slams MediaTakeOut

(MediaTakeOut)

Kanye West went on yet another rant early Saturday, this time targeting MediaTakeOut.

The webloid has run a number of outrageous stories about West over the last few days, and he apparently had enough. Among the posts were claims that West has a “mental illness” and is in the midst of a “nervous breakdown,” that Rihanna dissed him by not attending the “Yeezy Season 3” event, which the site deemed a “sh*t show,” and that 50 Cent and Jay Z were “embarrassed” to be in attendance. In a series of tweets, West fired back.

“Now – Media Takeout – always remember that you dissed the collection that changed the world,” he began. “You seem like the type of organization hired to always keep dreamers down… when certain things in history happen you just got to respect it… respect the struggle… respect the hustle… respect the dreams… respect the movement…”

West continued, “I had an album listening and clothing presentation and Madison Square Garden… people were crying… people were throwing up the fist… people were dancing… but Media Takeout couldn’t say one thing positive knowing damn well you’d love to be on the YEEZY 350 list… You probably got bootleg Yeezy’s on right now…”

“I’m a human being… I’m an artist, bro…,” the rapper went on. “Your site is entertaining and hilarious but certain things are just too far… you have no idea what I’ve had to go through… so many people didn’t make it and gave everything they had for me to stand on their shoulders and break through fashion… fashion ain’t no joke for me… It’s a way of life… creative expression and industry… I’ve given everything I had for this moment… a lot of people feel it’s the paradigm shift…”

Of the post screengrabbed above, West wrote, “And I’m proud of this picture with me and Caitlyn… She gave the most heart felt speech at my wedding and was there in full support to see me realize this dream…” He then praised Rihanna’s own New York Fashion Week Show for Puma, saying, “Wow the paradigm has shifted, She killed it…. everything is changed now!!!! Lil Sis kiiiiiiiilled this sh*t!!!!!!!”

Indeed there was a shift, as West went from angry to enthusiastic. He exclaimed in his next tweets, “HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA F*CK ALL THE HATERS PUT YOUR MUTHERF*CKING FIST IN THE SKY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I’M SO HYPE RIGHT NOW EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED… HAVE YA’LL EVER SEEN TRON? THE END OF THE TRON WHERE EVERYTHING LIGHT UP!!!! HAD TO ALL CAPS THIS!!!!!! NO MORE RULES… MAKE YOUR OWN RULES… ok now back to finishing Pablo.”

MediaTakeOut has a long history of sensationalizing or just flat-out making up stories about West, many of which Gossip Cop has corrected. In fact, West previously called out the outlet, also know as MediaFakeOut due to its lies, back in 2012. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, the performer blasted MTO as “so f*ckin’ full of sh*t” during a concert.
