Kanye West Releases New Song ‘Real Friends,’ Teases ‘No More Parties In LA’ – LISTEN!
Kanye West released his new song “Real Friends” on Friday, in addition to teasing a second track titled “No More Parties In LA.” Listen to the single below.
In “Real Friends,” which features Ty Dolla $ign, West raps about many personal topics, including past relationships, family drama, and the birth of his son Saint West. A small snippet of “No More Parties In LA,” featuring Kendrick Lamar, can be also heard at the end of the “Real Friends” clip.
It has yet to be announced whether either song will be featured on the rapper’s highly anticipated, but long-delayed, seventh solo album, Swish, which is still without a release date.
On Thursday night, Kim Kardashian revealed on Twitter that her husband would be dropping new music, and also hinted that he’d release a new track every Friday. The reality star tweeted, “Friiiiiiday!!!! New music!!!! #EveryFriday #Swish.”
West, however, pulled down “Real Friends” shortly after posting it on Soundcloud. He then explained in a tweet, “Un momento, there was a slight distortion in the main loop within ‘Real Friends’… It will be back up shortly.” The rapper later wrote, “New version is up. Please please erase the old one I wasn’t satisfied with the sound quality.” And then in a peculiar twist, the rapper quickly deleted the updated version, and then reposted it once more. Listen below!
UPDATE: On Friday night, West announced his album will be released on February 11.
