Kanye West Happily Accepts Portrait Of Mom Donda With Daughter North From Fan (PHOTOS)
Kanye West happily accepted on Sunday a portrait from a fan of his late mother Donda holding his two-year-old daughter North. The rapper was very touched by the gesture. See the photos below!
West and Kim Kardashian were in New York to attend the wedding of their friend, music executive Steve Stoute. When they arrived at their apartment, the couple was greeted by a flurry of paparazzi and fans, including an artist who goes by the Instagram name Perspektiv. It was outside their home that the artist gifted West with the portrait.
The artwork visually recreates the theoretical relationship between Donda and North that West describes in the song “Only One.” Donda passed away in late 2007, while North was born in June 2013, so the two never actually got to meet in real life.
Perspektiv, whose real name is Andy Gonz, later posed a photo of a smiling West holding the picture, along with the note, “Kanye with Kim taking my portrait away cheesin mad hard. Kanye said my portrait was sick and Dope! Kim was saying how awesome it was!”
Take a look at the photos below, which include one of West accepting the portrait and another of the drawing itself, and tell us what you think.
