Kanye West: I Worry North Will Be Electrocuted By Paparazzi Drones
Kanye West is worried that drones will capture photos of daughter North — and possibly electrocute her. The rapper made the admission during a deposition in an ongoing lawsuit filed against him by a paparazzi photographer he allegedly assaulted.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, West told the opposing counsel that drones flown by photographers have been “stalking” 1-year-old North, even during her swimming lessons. “Wouldn’t you like to just teach your daughter how to swim without a drone flying?” West is quoted as saying. “What happens if a drone falls right next to her? Would it electrocute her?”
Kim Kardashian‘s husband reportedly went on, “Could it fall and [hurt her] if that paparazzi doesn’t understand how to remote control the drone over their house?”
TMZ says West also compared celebrities’ struggles with privacy to the civil rights movement, and slammed the attorney for using the N-word when quoting one of his lyrics. “I’m in the business of trying to make dope sh*t for the world,” West ranted under oath. “You’re in the business of representing scums and trying to make as much money as long as there’s this lapse in the law.”
He reportedly also declared, “I’m the smartest celebrity you’ve ever f*cking dealt with. I’m not Britney Spears.”
