WATCH: Kanye West Performs “Only One” At Roc City Classic, Closes With Speech
Kanye West performed “Only One” to close out the first-ever Roc City Classic on Thursday. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Jay Z’s Roc Nation threw the concert event in in conjunction with New York Fashion Week. Though just Kevin Durant and West were scheduled to appear, the controversial performer brought out special guests like Big Sean. The show lasted just over an hour, and, not surprisingly, the crowd seemed to know every word of West’s tracks.
As he finished “Only One,” the rapper told the audience, “New York City, remember the night when you all saw me perform. Remember this night for the rest of your life. Remember this when you go to work next week. Remember to believe in yourself. Remember that anything is possible. I love you.” With that, West made his exit, leaving the crowd chanting “Yeezy!”
West’s show came hours after a party for his new Adidas sneakers, where he debuted a new song called “Wolves,” and a runway presentation for his Adidas fashion line, where Kylie Jenner was one of the models, and he had the support of wife Kim Kardashian and their daughter North, as well as Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Jay Z, and Beyoncé. Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Sean, Pusha-T, 2 Chainz, Russell Simmons, Pete Wentz, and more famous faces were also in attendance.
The Roc City Classic was held outside in the frigid New York City weather, where Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and more watched from backstage. Jenner posted a stunning photo of West performing (see above and below), simply writing, “Ye.” You can rewatch the entire concert below, or fast-forward to the 1:10:00-mark for the “Only One” finale.
