Kanye West NOT Resuming Saint Pablo Tour In January, Despite Reports
Kanye West is NOT resuming his Saint Pablo Tour in January, despite a slew of inaccurate articles. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct these false reports. We’re told it’s not true.
The wrong rumor began with X17Online. The webloid quoted an unnamed “insider” as saying, “Kanye really wants to make good on his promise to perform for fans.” The supposed source added, “Although ticket buyers were refunded, Kanye think it’s really important to give them another chance to see his show.” “Honestly, he wants to prove to the world that he’s healthy and that he’s back. Kanye is not going away anytime soon,” the site’s tipster further contended.
The rest of the outlet’s story was filled with how West canceled all of his remaining concerts in 2016, with a few inaccuracies, including how the rapper was in “rehab.” West was not in rehab. Not surprisingly, a number of outlets picked up the X17Online story without bothering to fact-check it. For example, the equally unreliable HollywoodLife squealed, “Kanye West already has plans in motion to make an epic comeback! The rapper will be resuming his high-grossing Saint Pablo tour.”
Rather than regurgitating untrustworthy webloids, Gossip Cop reached out to West’s rep, who exclusively assures us the claim is not true. The rapper is not resuming his Saint Pablo Tour in January.
