Kanye West Rushed To Hospital In Australia With Migraine: Report
Kanye West was taken to the hospital in Melbourne, Australia on Wednesday. The rapper reportedly needed to be treated for a serious migraine headache after playing basketball before a concert in the city.
According to TMZ, doctors cleared West of any potentially serious issues. He was able to leave the facility and perform as scheduled.
Some outlets are claiming the star had experienced seizure-like symptoms, and that his “major health scare” created chaos at Epworth Hospital. However, there is no evidence to corroborate these more sensational allegations.
West is not publicly known to have any medical issues. In 2007, the performer’s beloved mother, Donda, died in a California emergency room. It was ultimately determined that her cause of death was heart disease, combined with post-operative factors, following plastic surgery for liposuction and breast reduction.
The star has never seemed to get over the devastating loss, and all performances of his 2005 track “Hey Mama,” a ballad written about Donda, have taken on more poignancy in the wake of her death. Donda, who had also served as West’s manager, later provided name inspiration for his clothing lines.
Here’s hoping West’s health woes are only temporary.
