Kanye West: “Great Convo” With Wiz Khalifa, Feud Is Over
It all began last Wednesday when West blasted Khalifa in a series of tweets for what he thought was a dig at his wife Kim Kardashian. From there, the war of words, which also included Khalifa’s baby mama Amber Rose, spread to radio interviews and on to concert stages. While performing in South America, Khalifa told an audience in Buenos Aires, Argentina, “[Expletive] Kanye!” He followed that up the next night in Santiago, Chile, warning the rapper, “We coming for you” and “You better run.”
But now the two have reached a peace agreement. And as Gossip Cop reported earlier, Rose and Kardashian even posted a selfie together earlier on Tuesday, suggesting they worked things out, too.
As Gossip Cop noted last week, after West announced he changed his album’s name from Swish to Waves, Khalifa felt he could have come up with a more original title since Max B already released a series of Wave mixtapes. At the time, the pot-loving Khalifa tweeted, “Hit this kk and become yourself,” which was a reference to his line of pot known as “Khalifa Kush.” West, however, wrongly thought it was a dig at his KK, Kim Kardashian, and slammed Khalifa, his music, and Rose, the mother of his son, in an unrelenting Twitter rant.
Khalifa tried to explain to West that “KK is weed fool,” but the rapper continued the searing tweets, which included “no one I know has ever listened to one of your albums all the way through,” and “You let a stripper trap you… I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years.”
That’s when Rose jumped in and alleged in tweets directed at West that he was “mad I’m not around to play in ur a**hole anymore,” along with the hashtag, “#FingersInTheBootyAssB*tch.” Not long after that, West said no matter how angry he gets, he’ll “never speak on kids again.” And, as for the allegations about him liking fingers in his booty, West tweeted, “Exes can be mad but just know I never let them play with my ass… I stay away from that area all together.” He added, “Me and my wife got the kind of love that can turn exes into best friends.” And that’s what happened when Rose and Kardashian posted their selfie together.
Now, not only are the women cool, but West tweeted Tuesday afternoon, “Me and Wiz spoke yesterday. Great convo. All positive.” As for Khalifa, he has not commented on the armistice, preferring instead to tweet about getting high. UPDATE: Khalifa said in a radio interview that he and West are “cool” and “all good.” He confirmed West apologized to him, and noted, “I accept his apology.” Watch below.
