Kanye West: I Didn’t Kick Kids Out Of Chuck E. Cheese (LISTEN)
Kanye West says he never kicked any children out of a Chuck E. Cheese, despite some online rumors claiming he had an incident at the kid-friendly eatery. West called into Hot97 on Thursday to clear the air, saying he doesn’t even remember the last time he was at a Chuck E. Cheese.
“I haven’t even been to Chuck E. Cheese, but I’m glad that I heard that [rumor] so I could intercept it,” says West, adding, “It’s a constant thing of when, and not just particularly a black man, but a celebrity being used as a punching bag…. As far as Chuck E. Cheese go, they should be paying me to even say they name.”
The rapper also points out how he and his wife, Kim Kardashian, tend to do things on a much bigger scale when it comes to parties and celebrations. “You saw evidence of where we go, we rent out the whole stadium,” says West, referring to his birthday party earlier this week at Staples Center in Los Angeles. “We not going to be kicking nobody’s kids out of Chuck E. Cheese… What I’m gonna do at Chuck E. Cheese.”
As Gossip Cop noted, Kardashian rented out the sports arena on Monday to celebrate West’s 38th birthday. She also had a few NBA players show up to play basketball with the rapper, as well as hired an official NBA referee and NBA cheerleaders.
