Kadie Lynn “America’s Got Talent” Video: Miranda Lambert Cover Wows Reba McEntire
Kadie Lynn wowed with a Miranda Lambert cover during the “America’s Got Talent” Judge Cuts on Wednesday. Watch below!
Kadie Lynn initially impressed with her powerful country voice during the auditions episodes that aired last month. Just 12 years old, she now had to win over not just the usual panel, but also guest judge Reba McEntire. Before performing, the tween professed her love for the music legend, and said she was “pumped.”
She had good reason to be. Kadie Lynn had the audience clapping along as she sang Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart.” Even Simon Cowell gave the contestant strong applause when she finished.
“I remember your first audition so well,” Cowell said, recalling how he saw the “star” potential in her. With these new cuts, the mogul added, “We’ve only got seven places out of 20, but I’m personally going to fight for you at the end of tonight.”
Heidi Klum exclaimed, “You’re 12 years old! And I think it’s incredible what you do. I really do.” Mel B particularly liked how “distinctive” Kadie Lynn’s voice is. And McEntire noted, “You have a stage presence that I didn’t find til I was in my 20s.”
She also predicted that with proper coaching and effort, “You’ll be very successful.” Check out the video below!
