HollywoodLife Unintentionally Calls Its Own Rumors ‘Laughable’

HollywoodLife, where consistency and context go to die, shows again today just what a joke of a “news” site it is.
Last week, the outlet taunted Jessica Biel and Macaulay Culkin with speculative drivel about how their respective partners, Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, were “getting close” on the set of their movie, Friends With Benefits.
It was, as a source close to Biel told Gossip Cop, “stupidity.”
Today the site takes the leap from stupidity to outright hypocrisy.
After CREATING concern that Biel “better keep a close eye on her boyfriend” because “it looks like he may be hitting it off” with Kunis, HollywoodLife delivers a stunning “EXCLUSIVE!” that announces the exact opposite.
“Relax, Jessica Biel! Your BF, Justin Timberlake is ‘Just Friends’ With Co-Star Mila Kunis!”
Oh? Do go on!
“There is NOTHING romantic going on between Justin and Mila,” one “source” tells the site “exclusively.”
Of course there’s nothing romantic between them.
But again: HollywoodLife just days ago implied that there was.
“Justin and Mila get along like brother and sister,” says another “insider,” adding that rumors they’re together “are laughable.”
Unbelievable.
HollywoodLife is responsible for creating the rumors it now “exclusively” claims to be “laughable.”
