Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel Throw Star-Studded Engagement Party

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel celebrated their engagement on Saturday night with a party for about 100 of their closest friends and family members.

The bash took place at the Los Angeles home of Estee Stanley, Timberlake’s collaborator on their HomeMint collection of furnishings and goods.

Among those at the semi-formal affair were former NSync members Lance Bass and JC Chasez, as well as Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi, Timbaland, Amy Adams, Biel’s parents Kimberly and Jonathan, and Timberlake’s best friend Trace Ayala, whose truck was kicked in last week by the paparazzi.

Everyone dined on appetizers from Wolfgang Puck, and there were speeches before the crowd got down to a deejay spinning tunes by Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Usher, among others.

Biel and Timberlake “were dancing up a storm” and “looked so happy,” a source tells Gossip Cop.

The couple got engaged last December.

    It’s nice of her publicist to share this info in time for entertainment shows and blogs to resume tomorrow so the happy couple will be all over news. They are no better than all the other celebs who use the tabloids to get attention they just try to claim they are so private and above using the media to get attention. But they really aren’t I mean this was likely a privat party that only people who knew them really well were invite to but here about it the next day.

    Your an ass. Jessica is barely ever where the paps can get shots of her and her private life with Justin remains pretty darn private compare to other couples. I’m glad they are so happy and celebrating they’re engagement.

    If there is one couple that private its these two,. tabloids know almost nothing about their private lives,Justin and Jessica barely talk about their private lives,So when there is finally news about the two of them, people like you are going to bitch and moan.

    all Jessica wants is to be famous not matter how she gets it preteneding to love Justin or even sleeping around to get a movie role

    their not really that private if they are leaking info like this to gossipcop who only post things from publicist. this was also posted on people and Us weekly, Enews and other major entertainment news sites like I said just in time for it to be reported on the entertainment shows tomorrow and the rest of the blogs. they know what they are doing they may not talk about each other much to the press and they may not be on the Kardashian level of attention seeking, but they did this for attention and it’s more than obvious.

    JT is world famous,Jessica is famous,so offcourse showbizzsites are all going to copy and paste the ”people”article about the engagement party.Thats how it works it doesnt mean that their PR teams sent the websites this story.

    Jessica is really that famous and the stories weren’t copied and pasted each story has different details in them and besides if they did that they would have to give credit to the original source and non of these sites do that the story was given to several different sites with slightly different details, this is definitely leaked for publicity.

    This has to be one of the more asinine comments I’ve read. Jessica is famous and has been since she was a young girl. I don’t think it would be that difficult to be in love with Justin Timberlake that you would have to *pretend* to be. I doubt she has ever slept around for a movie role. Pretty much every celebrity couple’s engagement party and wedding is covered by the paps and entertainment press. Some even release pictures of it. Justin and Jessica are probably one of the more private couples. People who like to say she is alerting the paps or having her PR team do it are some of the dumbest sounding people on the internet. She really should hire a new PR team then since we rarely get pictures or press about them.

    Sounds like somebody did not make the guest list. I was glad to read this, wish there were pictures. But since it was very private, I don’t imagine photogs were invited either. Good for them. classy.

She and Justin have been a couple for a long, long time, so I imagine she does love him. And what would Ellen say about…..what? the fact that she “sleeps with someone to get a movie role”?
