Justin Timberlake Did NOT Have Closed Mexican Restaurant Reopen Kitchen To Make Jessica Biel Food, Despite Claim
Justin Timberlake did not ask a popular Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles to reopen its kitchen an hour after it had closed and have its chef cook food for his wife Jessica Biel, despite a newly published report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this tall tale from one of the tabloids.
According to the National Enquirer, well after the restaurant El Coyote Mexican Café had called it a night, Timberlake pounded on the joint’s door, desperately asking them to whip up food for his pregnant wife. A so-called source for the tabloid says, “Justin kept beseeching, begging, offering big bucks if they’d fix him food. He said Jessica had told him to get out and snag deep-fried jalapeno poppers stuffed with cream cheese or not come home at all! Poor Justin pleaded nonstop until the cook finally came through and scored a $100 tip for ‘helping a guy out.’”
The Enquirer, of course, is the same magazine that Gossip Cop busted for wrongly reporting that Timberlake was going to be Lance Bass’ best man at his wedding; was slated to host the 2014 Oscars; and that his workaholic nature was “wrecking” his marriage to Biel. Basically, the Enquirer knows nada about Timberlake.
Still, we called sources close to Timberlake and even the restaurant to fact-check the tabloid’s latest story. Guess what? The manager at El Coyote Mexican Cafe said she never heard about the kitchen being reopened for Timberlake, and she would know. Additionally, a Timberlake insider tells Gossip Cop, “Guess that [now] everyone knows Jessica’s pregnant, they needed to make up some angle,” stressing the restaurant story is “not true.”
