Us Weekly Wrong About Justin Timberlake “Betrayal”

Us Weekly will do whatever it can to split up Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.
In September, the mag declared the couple “over.”
Wrong.
Now, still eager to break up the stubbornly happy pair, Us Weekly‘s cover screams, “Justin’s Betrayal,” claiming Biel’s “nightmare comes true as Justin reunites with Cameron [Diaz].”
According to the tabloid, Timberlake’s relationship with Biel is on the rocks – and the mag says it’s because he’s been openly flirting with ex-flame and current Bad Teacher co-star Diaz.
An Us Weekly “source” says, “He tortured Jess by taking this role, and they are reaching a breaking point… The truth is, I don’t know if they can survive this.”
Actually, it’s Us Weekly that’s reached the “breaking point” with all things Biel and Timberlake.
Steadfast in its contention that it’s been like “old times” for Diaz and Timberlake, who dated for four years, the magazine quotes a “source” who explains that the co-stars are having “lots of laughing, making fun of each other, kidding around off camera.”
Us Weekly reports that this coziness triggered “huge arguments” for Biel and Timberlake. A so-called “pal” adds that as Biel becomes “territorial and upset,” it means “He got turned off. It made him turn more toward Cameron.”
Timberlake “doesn’t respect [Biel] anymore,” asserts the tabloid, which claims “When she’s not around, he’ll make fun of her to his friends.”
OK. Let’s cut to the chase.
Here’s what Us Weekly got right: The spelling of Timberlake’s, Biel’s and Diaz’s names.
Here’s what’s wrong: Pretty much everything else.
Sure, Timberlake and Diaz are “laughing” a lot and “kidding around” – uh, they’re on the set of a comedy.
Sources close to Timberlake and Biel call the Us Weekly account “BS” and “made up.”
As to whether Biel has a problem with Timberlake and Diaz yucking, a source connnected to the couple assures Gossip Cop, “Jessica has no problem with it.”
In fact, a Timberlake confidante adamantly states, “Jessica and Justin are very much together.”
This nonsense is (not surprisingly) being picked up by the usual suspects everywhere.
The only thing “betrayed” here are these outlets’ readers.
