Justin Theroux And Jennifer Aniston Had “Nasty Fight” Over “The Bachelor”?!
Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston did NOT have a “nasty fight” over “The Bachelor,” despite a ridiculous report alleging the show sparked an argument about her history with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Gossip Cop can bust the story, which we’re told was made up.
According to the National Enquirer, Theroux made a “dumbass, only-a-man-could-say-it remark” to Aniston “after they watched “The Bachelor” finale,” which featured “conflicted ‘Bachelor Ben’ professing to be in love with TWO women, then choosing ONE as his bride.” The supermarket tabloid claims Theroux said to Aniston, “Hey, I absolutely understand how a man can love two women at the same time.”
The outlet’s so-called “spy” goes on to allege, “Jen literally hit the roof. Appalled when Justin stupidly said he understood how that could happen, Jen attacked! A huge fight escalated and got really nasty.”
“Justin said he couldn’t believe they were fighting over a silly TV show — until furious Jen spit out the still-lingering angst from her failed marriage to Brad Pitt, who’d fallen in love with Angelina Jolie and dumped HER,” claims the supposed source, who adds, “Finally getting it, Justin reassur[ed] Jen nonstop that he’s no Ben… or Brad… and could only have eyes for her.”
Here’s what seems to be going on: Last year, Aniston admitted to watching “The Bachelor” as a guilty pleasure, and earlier this year Ben Higgins said the actress was one of his celeb crushes. And because the Aniston-Pitt-Jolie triangle never dies in the tabloids, the National Enquirer came up with a rather absurd way to tie it all together.
But “The Bachelor,” with all its producer manipulations and seemingly scripted moments, is more real than this tall tale. A rep for Theroux exclusively confirms to Gossip Cop that the fight allegations are totally contrived, and even expresses shock that the gossip rag even published this nonsense. But since outrageous nonsense is one of the magazine’s specialties, we can’t say we’re too surprised.
It also seems to be a theme this week. On Wednesday, Gossip Cop debunked a Life & Style story that actually claimed Aniston and Theroux were fighting over… Instagram.
