Justin Bieber Sings With Fans At Will Ferrell’s Cancer Benefit — WATCH VIDEOS!
Justin Bieber drove fans wild on Tuesday, all for a good cause. The superstar performed a private concert at the 11th Annual Desert Smash in La Quinta, California. Hosted by Will Ferrell, the event benefits Ferrell’s Cancer For College charity. Check out the videos below!
Ferrell’s yearly event is centered around a star-studded tennis tournament. Bieber was among the 2015 participants, along with his upcoming roast master and Ferrell’s Get Hard co-star Kevin Hart, and tennis pros like Eugenie Bouchard. The day-long festivities wrapped with a cocktail party and concert, for which Natasha Bedingfield, Lifehouse, and Bieber, alongside his guitar player Dan Kanter, provided the musical entertainment.
Bieber, who is working on a new album, performed acoustic versions of a slew of his old hits, including “Boyfriend,” “As Long As You Love Me,” and, of course, “Baby.” He also sang “Hold Tight” especially for Hart. “It wasn’t even on the list, Kevin, that’s how much I love you,” Bieber said into the mic.
As is often the case at Bieber concerts, a number of teens and tweens were in tears. The singer invited one starstruck Belieber on stage (see photo above), and gave an adorable little girl the mic for part of “Baby” (watch below). Not surprisingly, there was also a selfie involved. Bieber posted on Instagram after the event, “Great time at @desertsmash glad I could be a part of it. Great cause! Got to help make college a reality for cancer survivors. #giveback.”
And Ferrell’s organization posted on its own Instagram, “This shot. Justin Bieber’s amazing acoustic set for @cancerforcollege was the perfect end to the perfect day. Thank you @herradurateq #DesertSmash #justinbieber.” Check out the clips of Bieber performing below!
