Justin Bieber Featured In “Where Are U Now” — Listen To New Diplo And Skrillex Song!
Interestingly, Bieber has his own song called “Where Are You Now,” which was featured on his debut studio album, My World 2.0 back in 2010 as a bonus on editions sold at Walmart and in Australia. This is NOT remix of that track, but any entirely new song with differently lyrics and music. Diplo and Skrillex have created an uptempo beat that features Bieber singing softly, essentially combining EDM with a breakup ballad.
Bieber announced the collaboration on Twitter Thursday night just as it debuted, writing, “Wrote a song. #JackU @Skrillex @diplo #WhereAreÜNow.” “JackU” is the name Diplo and Skrillex, who normally deejay separately, are using for their newly-formed duo. The stars are currently in the midst of a marathon 24-hour performance being streamed online, coinciding with the release of their joint album.
Not surprisingly, the song’s unexpected release caused some confusion among Beliebers, who were initially thrown off by the title. “Honestly I thought this was a legit remix to a throwback,” tweeted one fan. Another person joked, “Silenty waiting for the devil to make a remix with where are you now and where are ü now so we can all kill ourselves.”
Diplo retweeted one especially-pleased listener, who wrote, “This @justinbieber @diplo @Skrillex joint is actually lovely as f*ck and bangs at the same time.” Check out BOTH songs below, and tell us what you think!
