Justin Bieber “What Do You Mean?” Video
Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” video premiered on Sunday, just as the MTV Video Music Awards were wrapping up. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, “What Do You Mean?” is Bieber’s first solo single in years, and the lead single from his upcoming album, due to be released on November 13. Wildly considered the start of his “comeback,” the track was released on Friday, and quickly broke One Direction’s record for the fastest song to hit number one on iTunes. Bieber performed “What Do You Mean?” live for the first time earlier Sunday during the VMAs broadcast.
The video was directed by Brad Furman to play like a short film, much like Bieber did for his 2012 hit, “As Long As You Love Me.” Co-starring Xenia Deli and John Leguizamo, Bieber portrays a guy who is in a love-hate relationship with his girlfriend. Midway through some hate sex, masked men barge in and kidnap them.
They ultimately escape by jumping out of a building, and they land in… a party! It’s revealed that the whole thing was a set-up that he planned with the help of Leguizamo’s character. “What Do You Mean?” is now eligible to be nominated for next year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
