Justin Bieber VMAs Rehearsal Photos: See Sneak Peek Of “What Do You Mean” MTV Video Music Awards Performance
Justin Bieber had his big VMAs rehearsal on Friday in preparation for his live performance at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. Check out the photos below!
It was only announced on Wednesday that Bieber would be one of nearly a dozen big stars performing at the 2015 ceremony, which will be hosted by Miley Cyrus at the Microsoft Theater. And the singer may have the most buzz-worthy performance of all, as it’ll be the first time he sings his new single “What Do You Mean?” live. So, what can fans expect?
Based on photographs taken at the rehearsal, Bieber will be joined on stage by both male and female backup dancers. The wardrobe worn suggests everyone but Bieber will be wearing white. And the group will be basked in a sea of flashing lights.
Earlier Friday, Bieber admitted he was “so excited but nervous” for the event, which many are considering to be his official comeback. “I just want it to be so awesome, and I’m perfectionist, and then I start getting in my head,” he said in an interview with Ryan Seacrest. Later, after the rehearsal, Bieber tweeted, “Great rehearsals. Tired but excited. #VMAs #WhatDoYouMean.”
Of course, Bieber is no stranger to the VMAs. He won Best New Artist back in 2010, and Best Male Video for “Smile” the following year. He’s not eligible for any awards this time around, but he’ll be seated near “As Long As You Love Me” collaborator Big Sean.
After Bieber’s performance on Sunday has come and gone, he’ll premiering the “What Do You Mean?” music video. Gossip Cop will have full coverage. See photos of Bieber rehearsing for the VMAs below, and tell is if you’re looking forward to the MTV Video Music Awards.
